Paid services for Klaipėda district residents
The Public Health Bureau of the Klaipėda District Municipality organises the following compulsory training courses according to the training programs approved by Order No. V-69 (Official Gazette (Žin.), 2008, No. 14-490) of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Lithuania as of 28 January 2008:
- Compulsory Hygiene Skills Training;
- Compulsory First Aid Training;
- Educating individuals about the harm to human health caused by the use of alcohol and drugs.
The Compulsory Hygiene Skills Training is a part of compulsory health training programme, the aim of which is to provide hygiene-related knowledge and skills to help protect the health of professionals in relevant fields of occupation and the general public. The professionals undergo hygiene skills training before starting their professional activities and after the expiration of their Health Training Certificate.
The Compulsory First Aid Training is a part of compulsory health training programme, the aim of which is to teach individuals to assess the vital functions of an injured and to provide him or her with first aid in a timely manner.
Educating individuals about the harm to human health caused by the use of alcohol and drugs is a type of compulsory health training, the aim of which is to provide the trainees with knowledge about the negative effects of alcohol and drug use on health, ability to drive, and road safety.

The prices of compulsory health training services were approved in accordance with the Order No. V-1225 of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Lithuania as of 31 October 2016 “On amendment to Order No. 373 of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Lithuania as of 8 November 1994 “On Approval of the List of Paid Public Health Care Services and Their Prices””.
